Our Process
At Kerb Krew, we keep the process as efficient and straightforward as possible. This allows us to keep our pricing for decorative curbing and garden edging "all-inclusive" and affordable while offering you the highest quality end product.
Free Consultation
During the consultation, we will meet & provide recommendations. We are here to assist you every step of the way. You will receive an estimate and a site plan. You can choose colours and textures and then we schedule an install date.
Ground Preperation
The ground needs to be prepared for the installation. For new landscape borders, we make a deep cut with a sod cutter. For existing edges, the landscape material is pulled back to make room for the new border.
On Site Concrete Mix
The concrete is mixed on-site with a blend of cement, concrete sand, water, and fiber mesh. The concrete is pushed through an extruding machine, compacted, and then pushed out through the desired mould.
Border Work
The border is finished with trowels. Now is the time when textures and patterns are added if desired.
Border Cutting
To control the ground forces, control joints are cut in the border every 2-3 feet.

Be sure to not do any landscaping for at least 72 hours after installation. The borders will reach their full cure at about a month, care should be taken until then.
